Social Work Professional Education and Study Base in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

    As one of the collaborative programs, the Social Work Professional Education and Study Base in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was built jointly by the local government and the School of Ethnicity and Sociology, Inner Mongolia University in October 2013. The base is an institution for social work professional training and community research, which aims to contribute its efforts toward social work professional education, developing social work theories and methods in minority region, and expanding the research area of social work.

    Since the establishment of the base, about one thousand officers of the civil administration system of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have been trained through more than ten sessions held by the base. The base has made important effort to the building of social work professional team in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
